Social Distancing doesn't mean we stop scouting. Keep up the good work and stay in touch with your patrol leader!
We're Social Distancing Together!
It's not lost on any of us that we are going through one of the greatest trials our country has faced in a hundred years. We are complying with the instructions we've received from our community, state, and federal leaders in order to stay healthy and keep our community healthy.
That doesn't meant that scouting has to stop. We are still conducting weekly Troop meetings, monthly Patrol Leader Council meetings, and we're starting up Patrol meetings - all in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
Our scouts are continuing to work on their advancement as well - rank requirements, merit badges, Scoutmaster conferences, and Boards of Review.
It may be a bit slower and a bit more cumbersome, but it's the right thing to do and before you know it we'll be back to Scouting "in person."
Please feel free to contact any member of the Scoutmaster Corps or Troop Committee if you have any questions or need assistance.
